Nancy Williams, Children's Pastor

I am Nancy Williams and my area of service is in the children's ministry at Cornerstone. As Children's Pastor, I am responsible for coordinating  all of the children's education and activities such as Vacation Bible School. I love working with kids and the special team of people who have a heart to teach and care for them. What really motivates me is to see children come to know that Jesus is real at an early age so they can grow to be strong and blessed in their relationship to Him and to others. My passion is to see God work in the generations of our families to bring them together so they can help other families come to Christ. Prayer is also my passion.

• Places:  All time favorite places memory is our family vacation to Yellowstone Park where we saw with our own eyes God's "Purple Mountain Majesties" and had a traffic jam with some mean looking bison! enjoyed going on a missions trip with my son and our church to Costa Rica and to London with my husband on a business trip; favorite city is Chicago. Ireland and Bermuda are 2 places I would love to see.
• What's on your iPod:  Dating myself but all the Bread, Buffalo Springfield, and Turtles songs! also, any contemporary praise music- Hillsong, Delirious?, Tim Hughes, The Rivera's, Casting Crowns; grew up on show tunes- songs from Music Man and West Side Story are awesome; cannot leave out my Bach and Beethoven!
• Books:  Bible or any book on prayer and inner healing; biographies, mysteries and anything by Louisa May Alcott
• What do you TiVo:  Extreme Home Makeover, Dancing with the Stars, and the food channel-love that Alton Brown and Barefoot Contessa!
• Favorite Food:  Dark chocolate with anything in it! Cheetos; onion rings; Chinese, Mexican; eating out for breakfast
• Sports teams:  Graduated from University of Florida so GO GATORS! baseball has to be the Yankees; Uconn basketball
• Movies:  Any musical; most adventure- Patriot Games, Indiana Jones, Braveheart; classic romances by Jane Austen; any Jimmy Stewart- It's a Wonderful Life; most by Mel Gibson- The Passion in a place by all by itself; most recent- Dan in Real Life 
• Hobbies:  Gardening; reading; scrapbooking; cooking and baking; playing with my puppy, Daisy; walking with my husband; doing anything with my grown sons that brings them home for awhile!
• Dislikes:  Japanese beetles; muggy weather; anchovies
